Arburg Celebrates 25 years in Malaysia

On 15 September 2017, the Arburg subsidiary in Malaysia celebrated its 25th anniversary with around 150 invited guests. As the occasion demanded, a high-ranking delegation from the German parent company, including Managing Partner Juliane Hehl and Managing Director Sales Gerhard Böhm.

As part of the festive evening event, Juliane Hehl presented the traditional Arburg anniversary sculpture. Another highlight was the presentation of the "Arburg Customer Awards 2017".

In her speech, Managing Partner Juliane Hehl emphasised the achievements of the Arburg subsidiary: "I am extremely impressed with what our team in Malaysia has achieved over the last quarter century. Our employees have always been and will continue to be there for our customers - in line with our brand promise "Wir sind da."

Juliane Hehl thanked the subsidiary team on behalf of the owner families and the entire Arburg parent company. In recognition of 25 years of successful work and as encouragement for the coming decades, she presented the anniversary sculpture to the subsidiary manager, Visu Nagappa and head of the ASEAN region, David Chan.

Managing Director Sales Gerhard Böhm also expressed his thanks to the staff and, in particular, to the customers for the trust they had placed in Arburg and for the successful cooperation over the past years: "This confirms that we chose the right path decades ago and our ongoing investments in this market have paid dividends."

"Arburg Customer Awards" presented

Specially selected customers were awarded "Arburg Customer Awards 2017" in four categories during the anniversary celebrations.

The companies Clipsal Manufacturing, Intercosmo Industries, ITL Asia Pacific, Juken Technology Engineering, Luster Precision Engineering, PMM Components, Wan Cheng Plastic Industries, Zeito Plastic Components and Fu Hao Manufacturing were awarded with the "Shining Star Award".

The "Golden Star Award" was given to the companies Prestige Dynamics Industries, Combi-Pack and Deutsche Technoplast Melaka.

The "Rising Star Award" was won by the company Plasticmate and the "All Star Awards" went to the companies B. Braun Medical Industries, Widetech Manufacturing and Valeo Penang.
