Arkema Aoppointed Frédéric Gauvard as Chief Digital Officer

Effective 1st March 2018, Arkema will be creating a Digital Transformation Division and appointing Frédéric Gauvard as the Group’s CDO (Chief Digital Officer). Reporting directly to Thierry Le Hénaff, Arkema’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Frédéric Gauvard will be tasked with speeding up the rollout of the Group’s digital transformation plan. His remit will primarily entail promoting the development of new growth opportunities, strengthening the in-house digital culture by encouraging collaborative work, and developing a genuine digital ecosystem to further boost the Group’s capacity for innovation as well as its operational excellence.

Frédéric Gauvard nommé CDO d'Arkema A graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and of Mines Paris Tech and a holder of an MBA (Finance) from the University of Houston Clear-Lake, Frederic Gauvard joined the Group in 1994 as Head of Production on the industrial sites of Carling in France and Bayport in the United States. On his return to France he held positions in finance before being appointed Vice President Financial Communication in 2005 to prepare Arkema’s stock market listing, and in 2009 he became Director Europe Asia for the fluorogas business. He had been Director of the Customer Supply Chain program since 2013.
