Plast 2018, IPACK-IMA and PLAST

IPACK-IMA AND PLAST SET TO SHOWCASE INNOVATIVE MATERIALS

The two exhibitions, part of the Innovation Alliance to be held at Fiera Milano from 29 May to 1 June 2018, have spawned a new satellite show devoted to innovative materials and packaging organised in cooperation with Material ConneXion Italia and presented on 7 February at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.

Innovative and functionalised materials and products for the premium segment are the focus of Innovative Material Solutions 2018, the new IPACK-IMA and PLAST satellite show which will make its debut at Fiera Milano as part of the event Innovation Alliance to be held from 29 May to 1 June 2018. It was presented on 7 February at the Triennale Design Museum in Milan.

Organized in collaboration with Material ConneXion Italia, the show will be entirely devoted to innovative materials solutions including raw materials, semi-finished products and components for high value-added products and packaging and innovative containers. It will serve as a melting pot of ideas and creative inspirations for strategic corporate areas from R&D to Marketing.

 To meet the needs of companies and give the best possible coverage to the various product sectors, the event will be divided into two sections located in the PLAST and IPACK-IMA halls at the centre of the Rho-Pero exhibition centre: PLAST-MAT and IPACK-MAT.

The first will be devoted to innovation in plastic materials with a strong focus on environmental sustainability and advanced technical performance.

The second will focus on advanced packaging solutions with a specific emphasis on anti-counterfeiting, smart packaging and high value-added and/or low environmental impact packaging.

As well as the exhibition area spanning two halls, Innovative Material Solutions 2018 will also feature an exhibition presenting an overview of all companies taking part in the initiative and displaying the most significant products. Initiatives will also be organised for 2 companies offering and searching for advanced solutions and materials for product design, manufacturing and packaging.
